I building my track-day racecar with a Kawasaki ZX-9R engine and now i am at the point of fitting a baffleplate what do you guys recommend, YES or
NO?
If it's a YES is there someone on this forum that sells these items?
yes mate best to be safe here you go http://www.fluke-motorsport.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1067&osCsid=4b99716b97005893ad2cda4b93ba0be3

I'd have to say yes too. Especially if you're going to put it on the track. I made my baffle from 0.9mm ally and sandwiched it between two
sump gaskets.
I just did a cardboard template then copied that.
If you've got an aluminium baffle plate fitted, remember to check it every year or so. The aluminium baffles tend to fracture after a while and
have even been known to completely break up and destroy the engine
Mistergrumpy, 0.9mm is a bit thin for a baffle plate IMHO. I'd go for something at least 1.8mm or preferably thicker. Better still, go for mild
or even stainless steel.
