is there that cap on both side?because i won't be able to reach it unless i take engine off

i'm looking for a sandwich plate to fit oil P and T sensors.the probleme is that outer diameter should be something around 68-69 mm, and most of
them are 80 mm.
anyone know where i can buy on that fits?
i dropped a line to Think, but they did not answer.

Why not take your oil pressure from the main oil gallery?
There is a cap either end on the side of the block. Just buy a Durite adapter (someone will be along to tell you what size).
You could also get an aluminium boss weled in your sump for the oil temp.

Yes, there is an aluminium cap either end of the main oil gallery.
What you are seeing is the cap removed from one end and the durite adapter in place.

looks like a accurat way to get oil pressure.sorry if i ask a lot, but can you tell me what would be needed to do the job?

I am not using electric sensors on my car, I am using a dual capilary gauge. One half is oil pressure, using a tube feed and the other is water temp,
using a bulb tube.
The durite bush is sold in a set of three different sizes (look up 0-523-98 which is the part number, on ebay).
It is the 16.5mm X 1.5 thread. The thread drilled in the centre (hole) is 1/8 npt, which is a standard size for oil systems.
You will need to get someone to make an aluminium bush for the sump and weld it in if you want an oil temp from there.
Most people tend to drill and tap the oil cooler bolt for pressure and drill and tap the sump at its thickest point near the sump plug (but at 90deg
to it!) for temperature.
I did bought a remote oil filter kit from thinkauto but sent it back when I actually offered it up and realised there was no way it was going to fit.
