Hi all i'm new to all this and would just like to no what my options are regards to tuning and the sort of power gains i'm likely to get from it also costs. I have an Mk Indy with a standard blade in at mo its had a upratted clutch and baffled sump. Thanks for any help it will be very welcome.

Dynojet the carbs and a K&N filter is the best bang for your buck, will release a few horses but needs setting up on a dyno to maximise.

Not sure you're going to want to hear this, but. . .

I wouldn't bother trying to tune your motor apart from fitting a jet kit and getting it sorted on a dyno. This'll cost about £250 total.

Any decent tuner will charge you more than it'll cost to buy a new engine for a gain of less than 10%, with less reliability. Remember that these motors are highly tuned from the factory.

Fitting a later model engine will gain you around 20-30% more power and loads more reliability; through the use of better materials and manufacturing processes.

Just my 2pence worth.

Just to add - I used to race a 2001 CBR600 and just fitted a race zorst, stage 1 jets and K&N filter and went from 92BHP (back wheel) to 105BHP. with gains throughout the usable rev range.
