can you get shallow sumps for r1 engines? as i need to replace it, i thought i might try to get it a bit further off the ground...

The quick answer is no you can't. The R1 has a very shallow sump and there is very little to be gained.

It is possible to source a dry sump setup from the US but that's expensive and you will only gain a centimetre or two.
