Pulled apart the wiring loom which was in the car and I understand most of it, but looking at the diagram there should be Throttle position sensor. This was not fitted, presumably this will effect the ECU. Should this be fitted if so how? There is also a pickup coil marked . What is this?

In that case, the engine is fitted with ZZR1100 carbs which do not have a tps.
I'm not sure which cdi he was using as he had it wrapped up in Syglass tape last time I saw it.
Do you have the numbers off the cdi unit to check what engine it was intended for?
