Fuel sender - Any suggestions?
McLannahan - 12/1/09 at 08:39 PM

Evening - I need to get a fuel sender for my clocks but my clock manfacturer wants £45 including delivery and VAT.

I don't have a tank yet (on its way) so not limited by that yet - Is it possible to use anything with my clocks? (Green Gauges)

'Blade on carbs by the way...

Thanks all

You need to find out what resistance range your fuel gauge works on and buy a sender which has the same range.

Thanks Stu - It's 10-180 Ohms according to their site!

I have read that some people use bike senders

Blackbird if i recall correctly but I dont know what the resistance is on it.

I also need to do the same for my koso dash not got round to it yet.

Exactly what I used with mine. I have sneaky suspicion it is 510ohm though.... Either way, it works great with my Koso!

I'm using a Sierra sender with my Acewell - works prefectly though the Acewell has two resisitance options and I can't remember of the top of my head which I'm using.
