anyone know if the superblackbird engine is a heavy engine/ good engine for BEC. the largest engine i have driven is a 900cc kawasaki!
I have seen a westfield megabird on pistonheads which is not quite complete and not SVA'D. they dont know the age of the engine is this a
problem?
Try a search ref the blackbird lump. Very prone to going pop due to oil starvation (no 3 cylinder I beleive). If they have dry sumped or Accumsumped, you should be good.
I heard about that and e mailed the guy to ask but as yet he has not replied.
The problem is that by the time i have got it through SVA i could prob have bought a registered mnr vort x with R1 or even busa power. finlay of here
has a busa on the bay with £9000 start
Seen this one?
that is finlays from locost builders. it was on ebay too. it has inboard suspension and busa power! do you think it would be a good choice?
There is also a green R1 powered vort x in same section
If you are in the market for a finished car you can't get much better than this

R1 fury with all the right bits, goes like stink (easily as fast as a westy megabird) and has really been well setup (I know the car and owner). Has
loads of expensive bits on it and will probably go for 8K if you haggle.
