Hi All

My gear linkage is going in (just waiting for the shift sensor rod). I can't remember which way round the gearbox works!

I want the lever to work as follows - forward - down, back - up. The linkage looks like this - it can be flipped over to work the other way.

Can anybody tell me which way the R1 gearbox turns.

From memory the shaft turns anti-clockwise to change up.

Thanks guys - presumably you mean looking from the 'fresh air' end of the shaft not the gearbox end?

If so, it should be right - there's a better picture here

Yes!
But you can check it yourself by constantly rocking the sprocket adaptor and moving throught the gears yourself just to make sure if you wanted!!!
