Hi
I've mounted my pick-up looking at the thread of the bolts that extends through my prop adapter, the clearance is very close. Tried the the car
yesterday, whilst the speedo works it does not read a constant speed, do you think it's because it's looking at the bolt threads? would it
work better if I fitted magnets to the prop adater and moved the sensor.

Have you got a speedo healer or the like fitted? If not this may be why the speedo reading is not constant. The four bolts are not equidistant.
Yes got a speedo healer fitted, does it matter that the four bolts are not equaly spaced?
Andy
Shouldnt do as the SH will deal with this when you calibrate it. Ive basically got the same set up as youve done and fitted a healer. Speedo was very erratic so I moved the sensor closer to the bolts. Actually a little too close as its now touching them but the speedo is worrking well now!
Hopefully got this sorted, bit of a schoolboy error, set the sensor as close as possible to the the head. When at slow speed the reading was ok, but
jumping at higher speed, I think the bolts were just catching the bracket which was ok at slow speed as it returned to normal for the next bolt, but
at higher speed missed them. Tried the sensor with an avo tonight and it's picking the bolts up ok.
thanks Andy
