I hope to see you soon

Hi!

Just to let you know that I just accepted a position to work in Spain, which means I'll move "home" actually in less than a month time! So I don't think I'll be able to attend next meeting, or who knows, I may be there after all, to say goodbye. I'm so busy now trying to sort everything out.. in fact I'm trying to find a bike engined 7-type car to take to Spain.. months ago I dreamed with importing the Isonblade. Anyway, I'll keep in touch with you nice people here, and I hope you let me know if you ever have plans to visit Madrid: I'll be very happy to take you for a QUICK TOUR!!!

Cheers,

Alex

........and like mad bastards - oh yes, I forgot, you already know about that (sorry, couldn't resist!)

Good luck with the move back and keep in touch on the site.

Don't forget that there are those BEC cars built in Spain (near Barcelona) that look like full bodied raced cars - beautiful looking things - there was a thread on here about it some time back.

Cheers everybody!!!

Jasper, at this point I would appreciate any info or ref you could give me about those BECs. I've been unsuccessfully trying to find any nice BEC to import, I will need to return without taking one home, oh why! Are you sure you are not selling, uh?

The thing is, my new company will be paying for my relocation costs and this would include a Ferry to take my new BEC home. But if I can't find anything nice, I will need to return at a later stage to buy it and pay for everything, sh**!

Yes we drive like mad bastards and on the wrong side of the road!!! Yes!!! I love it!!!

All the best Alex, congrats on the job.

There's a nice Fury Busa with all they toys for sale at the moment that I know the owner would take £11k for, but it may be a bit too race orientated for you seeing as its the car that won the RGB race series last year! It is road legal though, and could easily be softened up a bit to make it more road friendly, so let me know if its in your price range.

cheers

Chris

Thanks Chris, but that's well above the maximum I could possibly spend I really like Furys though. But I shouldn't spend more than £6k5, because I don't have the money mostly!! I paid £5k for the Isonblade, that sort of Locost thing would definitely be the one for me, I just loved it as it was, it had the minimum amount of stuff needed to make it road legal.

Many thanks!

Alez

Can't remember anything else about those cars, expect I don't think they were road legal. It would mean hours trawling back through the BEC section to find it. Can't part with mine till I have the extra cash needed to make the next one!

You just don't want me to crash your one!!!
