I have found a breather from what looks like the top of the gearbox, are there others and what have people done with these.
Thanks
Mac
If you have a solid axle, there will be one on there.
Just make sure it's clear, just there to allow hot gases to be released when the trans and diff get hot, so that internal pressure doesn't
push lubricant past the seals.
Mac, there was a question (and reply) about a ZX12R breathers in the last month or so, so a search should hopefully get you an answer if no-one
replies now...

(One of the Hellfire's responded on the earlier thread if that helps...)
ive got a seperate filter on the crankcase breather, which is in a bottle to catch any oil that comes out. (after a good few thrashes theres about 5ml)
I've taken the gearbox and engine breathers on my ST1100, combined them using some copper piping and on top (high up in the engine bay) sits a
little 15mm breater filter. No problems so far*.
*compared to when I didn't realise the gearbox breather was there and the first time I jacked the front of the car up it pooed half its engine
oil all over the floor
Just connect the breather to a filter Mac. Something like this
