I spent most of the weekend trying to fit a chopped sump to my zx9r engine...spent many hours re-sizing the pick up to the new sump, but got tired and family comittments meant that I had to stop half way through.

Went back into the garage last night, and I have lost the oil pick up. Have spent tonight looking for it, but no luck.

So, I have the bottom part of the tulip(cause I had cut it to shorten it) but have lost the bit that fits inot the crank, and the little rubber grommitt that goes with it.

Anybody got a spare oil pick up and rubber grommet for an zx9r, or suggestions as to what I could do next. (I have tried a couple of breakers so far with no luck)

Any ideas, I feel such an idiot.

think i still have one i chopped but never glued togrther which i have no use for, will have a look tonight for you.

IIRC a new one was about £6ish from a kwack dealer

I found my chopped one from a zx9r c2, No o-ring tho as they dont come with them sorry
