Any particular mods that are a 'must' for the ZX12R in a BEC?
Is the standard sump happy enough to cope with lateral surge???
Shortened and baffled sump as a minimum requirement and obviously the HD clutch springs.
We've done quite a few trackdays on various tracks with R888's using this setup and not had adverse effects so far, although we do keep away
from Mallory Park, the most notorious circuit for causing oil surge.

Cheers guys. I see a couple of lowered / baffled sump makers... any recomsndations?
I have a MNR VortX with a ZX12R.
I´m more than pleased.
I have done 3 trackdays now with 4-5 hrs driving each time.
Only had a few bolts running loose.
Apart from that it runs smooth.

Spoke to Andy (AB Performance) - they have a 360 degree swinging sump! Not the cheapest option, but having seen / bought AB's stuff in the past
- you definitely get what you pay for!
