Hi all.
I just installed a new set of OEM clutch plates and clutch steel plates. New Barnett extra load springs (for BEC in car) from PDQ. I had to adjust the
clutch cable to it's maximum out otherwise the clutch will drag.. Extra cerful puting the new plates in in the right order so I am 100%
that's ok.
Surely the adjuster should be at list half way in.
Any ideas? Also new Castrol semi oil fitted with the new plates.
Cheers....I hope the picture is attached here.
P.S Is a 2003 954 fireblade.

When set there should be 1 - 2mm of free play with clutch out so that it does not ride the clutch . After a few miles check it again as the clutch
will settle down and need adjusting.
The reason the outer is so far back is either an incorrect inner cable length or the inner has stretched - on the bike adjustment is available at both
ends to centralise it but many kit clutch cables dont have this which can be an issue
hope that helps - if you need more info give me a bell on 01449 736633
regards
Andy
Might sound stupid, but you've got the right number of plates in haven't you? one too few would cause what you've got there.....
Assuming you've not changed anything on the release mech

You could put a spacer at the bulkhead side?
