has anyone had any experiance removing the R1's optional imobiliser? my mate is building a rear wheel drive mini and even with the wiring diagram its got us confused.

Hi Andy,

Get yourself a copy of the Haynes manual and look at the us spec wiring diagram as this is the same as the european model but without the cycle lock. All should then be quite a bit clearer.

the black wire from the cdi goes to earth and the black wire from the big relay box with the white plug also goes to earth .
