Currently using a Veypor dash with the ZZR, but not all that happy with it.
Soo..
what are my options? Have a chance at some original ZZR clocks, but the ZZr speedo is cable drive, so how do I interface my drive shaft to this?
Obviously something like a'speedo healer' is aimed at electronic speedos....
Any thoughts?

Personally I'd just find a speedo with a nice simple electrical signal and make life easy!!
You could get all complicated and make an adaptor out of a small trigger wheel, a PIC and a stepper motor but it's easier just to choose
different clocks...
ok, then which is the easiest/cheapest setup?
And then i need a speedo healer to calibrate whatever i go for?
First off, what is wrong with the Veypor? I have a Koso for my BEC, and I am very happy with it...! Speedo is from two magnets glued to the prop.
i cant seem to get a consistent mount for the sensor
On the way to the SVA, i was doing about 50 mph, by the time it was tested i was doing about 140 ish
Rolling road reckoned i was doing 30
Sounds like you are getting a poor signal from the sender. If you use any of the other dash options you are likely to face exactly the same problem so
personally i'd persevere with the Veypor and work out how to get a decent signal.
Firstly, where / how have you mounted the sensor and magnets?? Whats the gap between the magnets and sensor? How stiff is the mounting bracket
(i'd say most issues are not keeping a constant gap between sensor and magnet is the likely problem)
A Hall effect sensor from ETB may be an option if you are still struggling with the current sensor - these seem to work fine with quite a large gap to
the magnet (5 or 6mm or so is fine)

Here is a dodgy photo of my arrangement. This is not a hall sensor, it just picks up on the magnets (are yours glued tyhe right way around?), then
overwrapped with gaffer tape just to be sure! My sensor is around 2mm from the magnets, and it has worked from the very first time....
