I ordered some repacking wadding from CBS the other day for my newly modded R1 can, which i have gutted and made into a straight thru design. Just started it up in the garage to see how loud it was and found i can now hear the engine more than the exhaust at idle.

Just need to test it out on the road and see if it all holds together inside the can and if it does a really good mod and cheap.

I just repacked mine, it was so nice and quiet for about 100 miles - a few long trips and its back to ear shatteringly loud

my can did exactly that nice and quiet for a few weeks then back to being noisy..
Any one tried that "Acousta Fil" thats found on fleabay?
