After a few years of patience the megasquirted blackbird rush fired into life today

Another big step towards the road today!

One issue i have though is with the feed from the megasquirt to the fuel pump which doesn't work? i had to bridge the relay to run the pump.

Is there an easy way to check the FP output operation on the MS?

Congratulations

You need to look for a switched earth on pin 37 from the harness, are you sure you have not wired expecting to see a battery to fire the pump?

To test just get a dashboard light bulb, one end on +ve terminal on the battery, other end to the pump wire, you should see 5 seconds of light when first turned on, then full on when cranking and running.
