Reverse Less Ignorance
mistergrumpy - 30/8/09 at 11:17 AM

Have a read of this found on pistonheads.
What a load of ignorance from people are are supposed to be petrol heads. One person calls people who build without a reverse gears retards whilst another says that a car without reverse is classed as a bike and can be driven on a bike license!
I think people just make stuff up rather than saying nothing. Phhmpht!

Well the bloke who did my DVLA inspection said I'd pay bike road tax because I had a bike engine

i was thinking last night,if i put a electric reverse system on my car does that make it a hybrid and therfore cheaper to tax, congestion charge exempt?

But thats what happens when you put spotty teenagers on the same forum, with no knowledge about anything to do with cars but the body kit, stereo head unit and the 500W amp in the boot.

What retard makes bike engined cars without a reverse?

The sort of retard who realises that it's really not that difficult to push a 400 kilo machine backwards.

lol

Found out today that its also not too hard to push a much heavier, jag engined car backwards when the tracking is corrected

agreed,
blind leading the visually impaired !

the bike license in the case of a reliant with no reverse gear is due to the fact it only has three wheels ie a trike, once the luxury of a reverse is added a full licence is needed methinks.
