
Does anyone have a blade engined car and a smiths (possibly telemetrix) tacho which has the 6 dip switches on the back? If you do any chance you
could give me the settings on the dip switches as my tacho seems to over-read fairly significantly. Currently I have:
1-on
2-off
3-off
4-off
5-off
6-on
ok, for the sake of anyone searching for this in the future - these settings are correct, I just had to spend a long time tweaking via the tiny white potentiometer beside the dip switches - that in conjunction with an automotive multimeter against a coil (which reads half of the actual value when set to 4cyl) was all that was needed to get it working.
