Nice find there. Alltho i havent found mine to hit the limiter in 6th when going about 130 (private road honest).

I dont really want to go any faster than this so unless i alter the gearing i should be ok.

One thing i noticed is he mentioned the speedo signal is 5v, i had to add a resistor in the circuit to get a higher voltage for my after market speedo to work with so my ZX12 ecu is seeing 10+ volts and hasnt 'gone bad' yet. Maybe all you need to do is feed the tacho signal straight into the speedo wire for the ecu?

What's the point? Only time I ever saw 11,500rpm in sixth gear was on a rolling road. In the real world, the aerodynamics will prevent you from going any faster whether it's unrestricted or not.

BTW, that mod only works on the ZX12R models with a 16 bit ECU (2000 - 2003)
