Trial fitting of my bodywork today... been having fears that the engine is too tall. It fits over the engine perfectly with MM to spare! Well 21.5 of them anyway

Also managed to find a way to mount the klicktronic and its just about working, fine details need sorting(angles/distances) however it did change gear off the paddles

So at the minute the car is in the garage with bodywork resting all over it. It's allowed me to look at where I can mount things, ie Accusump bottle to the right of the driver in the dead space and how/where I can mount some of the major electronics for the loom.

Looks like its going to be a bloody nightmare getting all the bodywork lined up properly though.... at least i've not got to worry about that for a good 6 months.

was the air filter on? 21.5mm air filter is pretty flat....

no without the air filter..... going to have to cut the bonnet, I was more worried about the engine

When I teach myself how plan is to cut the bonnet then graft a scoop of some description onto it so I can keep the sleek lines of the car.

21mm is miles i have got about 4mm between the cambelt cover and my bonet
