Ahh i remember years ago seeing one of those most days traveling on my way home from work on the M180. I always wondered what it was. It was a lovely beige colour hehe

The bloke who designed the Midas was Harold Dermott (McDermott?) who was an expert on composites and he worked on the McLaren F1 project with Murray.

Gordon Murray had a Midas with a rear mounted Alfasud engine.

Many years ago there used to be a Fiat 500 with a lotus twincam engine hanging out the back on bits of angle iron, it was very quick, I wonder what happened to that?
