What pressure (psi) and flow fuel pump will I need for my GSXR1100 engine. I espect it is the same as most bike engines.

If its a carbed engine (which assume it is) then you usually need about 1.5psi of pressure. Im not sure on flow rate but any fuel pump off a bike carbed bike should do the trick.

Thanks chris, now i'll know what to look for at the Beaulieu autojumble tomorrow.

That should have read "big carbed bike" , ie one from a bike engine of a similar capacity to yours.
Having said that I think most of the bike pumps are the same anyway, usually made by Mitsubishi, blades use the same ones as CBR600s etc.
Don't go for a pump that isnt pressure sensing though (like the Facet ones) because you'll need a regulator in there as well which have been known to cause flowrate issues at such low pressures.

I should probably go for the one that they use in the 'busa engined cars. They must be right.

No you shouldnt, cos they are fuel injected so will give you about 45psi !!!

Not AFAIK, Im pretty sure they were all injected.

Joel - yep that one should do fine, same as what I use on my blade.
