GPZ900R sump and pickup are what you require.

one of these ??
Just fitted a GPZ900 sump n pick up to my zx10. its 40mm shorter. fits a treat.
Got mine from this seller

Ask him for the pick up pipe also. charged me £19 all in posted.
thanks again all.
My ZZR just fits in the Indy. The top of the foam filter on the carbs just fits tight up against the underside of the bonnet bulge. The rest of the
engine fits down from there. I'll see if I can find a couple of photos of my engine cradle, as designed by MK in a moment.
The GPZ sump is as everyone says shallower than the ZZR one, which gives you a useful increase in clearance. However, be very careful when swapping
the hoses over. Label everything before taking the ZZR one off, and make sure you compare the internal oilways in both sumps before fitting the GPZ
one.
The ZZR runs a two stage oil pump, out to the cooler and back to the sump, then through the filter and up to the main galleries. However it also has
an external feed hose to the head and a rigid external pipe to lubricate the clutch / gearbox. Make sure you get all of these connected up to
appropriate outlets on the GPZ sump. I think from memory that one of the outlets in the base of the sump on the Zed is replaced by one on the side of
the GPZ, but don't quote me on that.
If I was installing mine again, I'd move it forwards by about 3". I doubt it would make lots of difference to the handling of the car, but
it would allow me better access to the far end of the engine, where the oil sight glass, timing cover etc are located.
If you need anything else, just ask.
Mike
