Gear push/pull cable: Where to buy?
Toprivetguns - 7/6/10 at 08:47 AM

Hi,

Ive decided to go for a push/pull cable system for my ZX10 gear change. Has anyone a similar setup on their car and if so know a good place to buy this type of Cable?

Cheers

I spent a lot of money on an "aircraft quality" cable from one of the respected kit car companies, which failed after a few thousand miles of use.

I then bought a cheapo cable from ebay, designed to turn outboard motors on boats? I think it was described as a morse or teleflex cable?

Try this?

Eeek! You wouldn't expect aircraft cable to fail. Thanks for the link !

I got the cables from a mondeo for mine (cheap from the scrappies, but hell of a job to get out). Note - not all mondeos have cable change
