
Am i right that my busa will only need a feed pipe from the in-tank fuel pump and won't need a return. If so how does it regulate fuel pressure?
the pump has a regulator in it
not all of the bikes had it -according to haynes they put the fuel pump and regulator in the tank in 2001 - so if your engines beefore that it may have a return - just look for a return pipe to it
Cool thanks. Mine is later than 2001 so just one pipe then.
Just a word of caution but its your call,
If you run the busa pump in the tank you will have a high pressure fuel line from back to front, not something personally I would want it will also be
prone to Air locks until its properly bleed which could be a while, I have heard of people getting airlocks in the system done this way. Remeber its
just a short little run on the bike ?
I have been running a Suzuki fuel pump in my car for 2 years now. Never had any problems, the pressure is constant and the fuel line run is simple as
there is no return back to the tank. i am amazed at how complicated some people have made their supply of fuel to the engine. Keep it simple and use
the pump that Suzuki designed for it and i can say you will be pleased with the result. Even if you have a pre 2001 engine, you can still run the
later type pump. you just have to remove the old pump from the rail and have only one supply to the rail.

aye 2nd'd - i have a fuel pump right down near the diff to the engine - works fine
