Hi all

well good news the new engine is now all up and running, always a big step forward when it breaths into life,

best bit started on the button first time,

at first had no oil pressure showing turn of quick like, but after checking had to wires around the wrong way on digi dash, no biggy so well pleased and sounds sweet,

now on with fitting the body work ie side panels new scuttle and cutting the savage switches in,

some small amount of tidying to do in the engine bay ie secure electrics with convex and some p clips on the hoses,

bleed the breaks,fit the seats/seat belts and away we go to the rolling road for mapping,

so all being well back on the road so to speak very soon, even though i intend to track this car only i have done eveything with iva in mind in case i sell on at a later date,

oh and fitted new fuel lines as couldnt see any markings on the rubber hoses and we know mr iva loves to see them,

all good then and thanks to paublo on her with his mnr for advice,

Well done sean it such a buzz when you get engine fired up for the first time when it's just been sitting their for so long not doing anything, gives inspiration to crack on and get finished.

yep out i the garage just come in and ready to finish now as you say just gives you the kick up the arXX you need top push on,

I'm not miles behind you with my conversion, engine mounts are ready to be welded up (not by me)

then the real fun begins with the 1000 other jobs....i'm sure it will be worth it

my prop i relation is about 5deg from the reverse gearbox,

wish i could have got it straighter but it should b ok

i will try to get pics but may not come out that well??

i hope your install is going well i know the 1000 jobs its painfull but rewarding once you fire it up,
