Custom alloy radiator maker?
MydT9 - 18/1/11 at 11:45 PM

Hi, any recommendations for someone to make a custom alloy radiator for a BEC - thick core, good quality with a fairly quick turn around providing I provide all the dimensions?

Thanks,

Myd

Rad???

MydT9 - 19/1/11 at 12:05 AM

My research seems to show the Rad is a common denominator coupled with the DC pump.... belts and braces change me thinks, just had a PM suggesting AH Fabrications so will give them a call tomorrow...

I know of one not far away from you that you could 'borrow'....

Actually it is one of these - VW GOLF MK2 GTI 1.8L 16v HIGH FLOW RACE RADIATOR RAD on eBay (end time 06-Feb-11 19:09:53 GMT)

Get a copper one, as they can be repaired easier if damaged, and copper has better heat conductive properties than ali.

I used These guys who were very helpful and accommodating.

I am planning on running a 2009 Hayabusa motor with the stock rad. Am I missing something? Should the factor one not be adequate?
