How Stupid!!!

After speaking to someone today who owns a Fireblade bike, I've just discovered I've connected my throttle cable to the choke, on my Fireblade 919 engine.

Looks like I'll be reading through the Haynes manual a bit closer in future!

For sale 1 set of plugs, lightly flooded

Yeah, I think a Rev limit of 2000RPM on a 13000 RPM rev counter would have prob given it away

That's a point actually, I've fitted (and removed) more than a couple in my time - if you value your knuckles and don't have a day to waste, it's a damn sight easier to just remove the carbs, flip upside down (remember an old towel to catch fuel), slide the cable through from top to bottom, past the accel cam, nice gentle/tight curve, and push the soldered nipple in from the side, the tightness of the curve will take the cable back round the cam, no drama...

worth checking once you connect the cable up that you can fully open the butterflies, and that you have a stop somewhere (other than in the carbs) to prevent you going further.

Boring stuff but will save pain later on.
