What are the best springs to use on the front of a striker, the ones on my seem too big and are too sprung.

Need more information. In particular what springs are on there at present and what is the weight of the car, or at least the engine you are running so we can take an educated guess!
try the sylva google chat group. Loads of info on there (you need to register, but it isn't difficult). Not much traffic, but the search is
really useful.
Range seems to be 180lb/in (factory), 225lb/in (fashionable for becs) to 300lb/in (race without ARB).
Length is about 9inch (this is the big-ness!) but I guess it depends on your desired ride height, and adjustability of your spring seats.
I run 175lb/in plus an ARB and 8.5inch long spring in 1.9inch diameter on protech shocks, on a heavyish BEC Phoenix (same chassis as square tubed
striker), but I wouldn't claim it is optimal.

again would need to know what you have on there already. I'm guessing yours are inbound like most strikers out there?
might be a stupid question as well, but if they are coilovers you will have an adjustable spring rate anyway so have you played with this at all?

Our good friend, and multiple RGB Champion, Tim, advised us to use 250lb springs all round on our trackday only Phoenix Fireblade.
It has inboard front suspension and IRS rear.

Not seen a striker that looks like that before.
Looks more like a Locust with cortina front suspension.

Looks like someones used the basic look of a striker to build a custom locost, the side panels look striker, but the suspension, rear chassis and rear tub is defo not striker.
Cant help you sorry,have no idea whats on mine,mel suggested them as a guess starting point,but now its all settled and i've had to jack it up again my back springs are about on the limit.sure the new owners of raw should help if they want to make the company work.
It's difficult to see whether it has trailing arms or de dion rear.
It's one hell of a hybrid!
Mk1 Striker was Viva based. Could the front suspension be Viva, not Cortina?
If so it could be a modified MK1.

The Mk1 used Viva front sub-frame (as in the pictures) but JP only built one (his own) before moving on to the Mk2. Mk3 had outboard springs but not with Viva sub-frame. Niether Mk1 or Mk3 had independant rear suspention. Could be a rebodied Leader (used Viva sub-frame) with the rear modified to independant.
