R1 2006 manifold material?

Does anyone know what material the exhaust manifold is made of on a 2006 r1?

I think it is stainless but I know some bike are titanium!

I dont think the headers are titanium are they? All of the bikes ive had have been Stainless. Either way, i would TIG weld it with stainless wire.

My ZX6R has titanium headers as standard, duno about the R1

I just remembered the headers I am using are from an 08 r1... Anyway shown them to the welders at work and they both told me they are titanium.

I will be TIG welding them, we have Ti rods so may as well stick with it as that's what I have.
