I have a ZX10 engine in my Smart but there are no vacuum takeoffs except balance takeoffs, but they are to small bore to flow enough for the servo.
Ive tried looking for electric vacuum pumps but no success, and am thinking just put the car through MOT without the servo working.
Any suggestions or feedback will be much appreciated
Connect the small bore stuff via an adaptor to the booster. Make sure to keep the original non-return valve in the hose to the booster.
The booster will work but the rate at which it develops vacuum inbetween braking events will decrease. You'll probably never notice as very few
of us brake really hard in rapid succession.
Servo function is a testable requirement, if fitted it must work properly.
Tried off the balance takeoffs and brakes were still weak

Thats what I used but braking wasn't much different
Are you sure the take offs are on the engine side of the throttles ?
