Anyone got any photos of paddle driven cable gear changes that also incorporate a shift sensor such as a Trickshifter?
Not quite sure the best way to tackle it as the sensor is fairly long and I'm a bit tight on space.
Also any tips on where to buy suitable cables from would be appreciated
Cheers!
I normally use 6mm push-pull cables from Venhill.
These come in a range of sizes and they also do custom lengths.
Venhill
The Flatshifter (was Trickshifter) sensor switch has one M6 left hand thread end and one M6 right hand thread end.
Screw the righthand end to the cable and fit an M6 left hand thread male rod end joint to the other and attach that to the gearbox shift arm.
Is 50mm total travel typically enough travel using the stock gearbox shift arm?
It sounds about right to me but I can't measure it at the moment.
