Im embarrassed to ask but....

can anyone point me in the direction of where the clutch is on a 09 busa engine and what it might look like. I looked everywhere and i really don't know what im looking for (I thought it might be a wheel similar to the throttle).

and im not on about the one in the footwell

thanks

Under the clutch cover at the end of the gearbox. Towards the front of the car there will be a cover with a dozen or so bolts. Suggest you get a manual before opening the cover up though.

Look for a bit that looks like this,

and it's underneath it.

Not being funny Mikef but, if I didn't know where the clutch was, I don't think I'd be messing with an engine without some knowledgeable help

Like I said, not trying to be condesending, just wouldn't want you to bite off more than you can chew

ive never even seen a bike engine (other than in a motorbike), until i went to malcs to pick this u p

i stripped my vx220 engine down after 3000 miles (from brand new) and Id never even changed an oil filter

how hard can it be?

knowledge is king, and there's loads of it on the internet

Edit to add that I was sure i'd replied to this thread last night to say thanks, but apparently I didnt, so thanks
