Hi Drew,
Check out my archive, i think there is a couple of pics
So you just turned it round did you have to cut the holes to get them to fit and how did you get it to seal back up?
Nope all you do is cut out all 4 holes as 1 piece, turn the airbox 180o and glue/bolt back into place.
A quick note also, make a small bracket to the chassis where the mounting hole is. I didn't and when mine got wrote off the airbox and carbs
flew off the engine.
Jas the car is looking very nice
John
Thanks John
Drew, i did cheat a bit as i had a spare airbox to play with
I used the same stuff to bond the airbox parts together as i used on the floor of the chassis, tiger seal polyurethane.
Any plans of another build John?
Thanks guys i will have a go.
Wish me luck
Jas have a look in my photo section there is a new folder :-)))) its coming. Its got a charging fault but I cant wait to see how it handles.
That looks nice
Is that your new toy then?
Yummy!!!
Plenty of on-track fun 4 U then John .......
.......and lots on the road
Drew, looked for the rubber seals, but i remember now the reason i used the original airbox bottom as the new airbox didnt have the seals with it,
sorry mate!
Ive got a airbox top half spare!
