Any advice please to get 5VY R1 to start in any gear position?
Thank you.

Should be as straight forward as finding the side stand switch and join the two wires together.

To start in gear you will also need to find the clutch switch and make the circuit

ETA blue/yellow and black/yellow are the clutch switch wires, join them together for any gear starting...but don't leave it in gear when you turn it over

You'll need to find the clutch switch, and possibly put that to a momentary switch. If you just connect it up, then some modern bike engines cut second injectors and do all kinds of funny things. I have a small momentary switch on the steering wheel.

Nope you just need to join them together on the 5VY
