I'm going to be offering a zx12 motor for sale soon but not sure what is usually expected to be included. Will obviously include ecu, regulator
etc but what else do people usually expect to be included? Loom, clocks, ignition etc?
Ez
They vary so much so I'd just expect to get what was described, so just be accurate with your description.
Cheers

With a bike engine I would expect every thing from the bike to make it run.
Car engine I would expect a long engine with donor manifolds as there worth bugger all. Anything elts is a bonus.
Loom and Ignition, I wouldn't expect it to come with clocks but some do.
depends, a lot of the breakers sell a "short" engine, which can even come without starter motor etc.
Short engines are an option for someone who has blown their lump and is looking to swap it out - but if your selling it as a package rather just an
engine the id want whatever is needed to run as a minimum.
A bike engine must come with a full loom minimum, not necessarily the clocks.
ive seen bike engines sold with nothing, not even water hoses. Really, for an easy sale it wants to be useable, so include the bits needed to make it work, and describe it well.
Depends on who wants it - bare engine would be great for someone replacing a blown engine in their bike, BEC builder will likely want everything he can get.
