After changing the knackered 919 blade in my Toniq I made the error of taking the Kliktronic actuator off without checking the positioning.

I am now having trouble getting gears every time as when I'm adjusting the position I'm sometime's catching neutral on the upshift's from 1'st and when I adjust the other way i'm having trouble shifting down.The bracketing that hold's the actuator has a bit of play in it and when I shift the actuator twist's a little so i' thinking this is maybe not the norm either which could be causing problem's.I have tried tightening the bracket up but still it persist's to twist a little which is swinging me to making up some kind of bracing to keep it centred .

I'm relatively new to the bec experience and I'm still learning so any experienced info will be appreciated.

The actuator needs to rotate slightly around the mount axis, but not in any other plane.

Are there multiple mounting holes on the lever that the actuator is fastened to? Perhaps you've connected the wrong one up so the throw is longer than the kliktronic can go?

My actuator is mounted into a large clasp that wraps round it which is in two parts and tied together with two large Allen bolts.When I took the actuator out of the clasp I never marked it up.When the actuator is engaged to shift up the whole bracket twist's off the mount causing the actuator arm to come off centre causing the actuator and the arm to twist toward's the car bulk head.It's not centred which I think isn't centred properly when fully engaged on the up shift and the actuator arm and the actual actuator to run un true of each other.

I'm thinking on creating another tie into the actuator so it's held in two place's to keep the whole working assembly straight to the gear change selector shaft.

I can't remember if this was all the case prior to the engine change which did work fine before but I'm getting bored with making the car up every time I need to adjust the arm on the gear change out put shaft.

You need exactly 25mm up and down movement on the lever, this is achieved by sliding the actuator up or down in the mounting bracket
This may be of some help.
If it worked ok before, then I think it may be a matter of adjustment.

I think that I does need some adjustment but I think that the actuator might bt losing the pressure by trying to twist and push outward's rather than moving parallel to the gear change out put shaft.
