as above wanting to fit a oil pressure gauge to my blade engine, can i just fit any i now i got to modify it it fit ,just need to now if i need a special gauge to fit the bike engine
Any oil pressure gauge will do.
If you get an electric one then you need to run the sender off a bit of hose, the engine vibrations will kill it otherwise.
The standard light sender sits in a big bung, you can undo this and tap to whatever your fitting is
I got this reply when I asked about the thread size on a 919 Blade.
The thread is M10 x 1.5 but it might be easier to remove the boss that it screws into and retap it 1/8 npt as most of the aftermarket senders use
this. The boss can be removed from the main oil gallery using a 17mm socket but it is real tight usually. Be creful when refitting the boss as it is
M2o fine and easily cross theaded
Cheers

In would go with a stack mechanical one. Not too expensive and good quality. I have one on my s2000 engined mnr
