Hi guys , I am getting a 9000rpm fault code on my 01 R1 clocks, any ideas The Exup is all ok but I cannot find any fer to this code in the manual

possible low fuel sender/warning light indicates its disconected.
Ive got a thunderace fault code is 8000rpm for above fault possible on r1 its 9000rpm worth checking ? as my friend did an R1 indy he had same fault
and im sure thats what was causing the problem bridge it with a small resistor keep twistin it to increase the resistance until the fault goes.let me

I had the same problem its a 99 iv got and it was shooting up to 8000 rpm it was the fuel sender.

Hi, Got the problem sorted - the version I have has a engine cut out switch - just a tilt switch - which cuts off the fuel pump via the ecu - I had it
mounted the wrong way up!

might have to put it back.. the car is all but finished.. have you got a cat sorted for the test yet?

Sorry for not getting back to you but my mother-in-law died last week so that put a block on everything, things are sorted out now and the up side is
that i,ve got a couple of days off to sort the car out- the SVA have been good enough to put my date back.
