a little less speed and a bit more torque and he could have driven up that (and more skill, alot more skill)
With a more torquey engine he'd have had that tree down in no time.
Personally, I'd have just used a saw.
Still fun to watch though.

i got bored. did he ever make it up?
Nowhere near it!
BEC's are rubbish eh?
Yup, looks like it!
thats a suzuki samurai ?....
's funny, and I guess same principle applies - in Bedgebury Forest where I do a bit of myb'ing, there in one particular bit that I would
usually fail on (very very steep, gullied with roots and turns) if I carried a lot of speed and pedalled like an imbecile. If I slowed right down to
the point where my brain can keep up with what I and the bike are doing, went to the middle ring at the front and bottom at the back (effectively
increasing effective torque) and just rode gently, I can usually get up it!
Suggest that bloke in vid engages brain, buys an engine with some torque and takes some lessons, he might get there

Maybe so...But still sounds awesome
n00b question time...
can someone explain how more torque would improve the vehicle?
the reason i ask is that surely more torque would cause the wheel to potentially breakaway quicker??
like i said n00b question
Thanks
I was under the impression that the normal approach to get up a slope like that was full beans, since there isnt enough grip to go slowly. You need
momentum, and also you need to shoot a lot of dirt backwards to propel you forwards.
Lots of the icelandic 4x4 videos show people using a similar technique.
I like the buggy but unless there was a very specific route he HAD to take the driving was crap!
