I currently drive a pinto engine car 1.8 with fast cam and twin 45's and am thinking changing to a bike engine after being at a show where the majority of sevens were blade engined cars.What I would like to know is apart from the engine and gearbox what other parts do I need and any idea of costs.

in brief, you need a new propshaft, electrics, gearshift mechanism. other things will be affected in less radical ways, for instance body work, fueling, dash, speedo etc.

cost is largely dependant on the engine choice, which obviously varies a lot.

The engine and gearbox come as one.
Airbox
2pc Propshaft
Propshaft-spline adaptor
Engine mounts
Exhaust Manifold
Gear Linkage
Sticky tyres

Cost: Around £2000 to convert, minus what you can get for the engine, gearbox and original propshaft.
