EBC v OEM

What's everyones opinions of using EBC clutch parts rather than OEM? My R1 clutch appears to be slipping and I was quoted almost twice the price for genuine rather than EBC!

Could be wrong, but thought that EBC & Barnett parts were uprated from the OEM bits. And cheaper

Ive now got the EBC kevlar clutch friction plates in my blade because of the same reasons (£55 against £120!). I don't use their springs as they have/had a reputation of being made from chocolate and worse than stock, so went for some uprated Barnett springs which are certainly better than stock (was getting a bit of slip with new OEM springs but none at all with Barnetts).

No springs on R1s though unfortunately (unless you go for the £100+ Barnett upgrade kit ).
