after taking the midi for a quick run with my dad ( on private land ) the speedo seems to be out !! it has a zx10r engine and uses the original clocks , having not owned a bec before i was wondering how you calibrate the speedo ?
You require something like this

Of if you want something a little cheaper:

Healtech SpeedoHealer SH-V4+SH-K04 Kawasaki ZX10 06-10 | eBay
or this, check obviously for your engine model.

thanks guys im a big fan of plug n play
Its worth noting the Picbits one is completely universal, made by a very handy chap from migweb (vauxhall forum) called Dom, its just the bare bones,
requires no more than a few wires to get it installed.
I put mine in a black maplin box and bipassed the standard micro switches with some push switches. AFAIK is infinitly adjustable. I just drove along
the road with my GPS/satnav speedo on, then pressed the up and down buttons till it the speedo was correct, then pressed the set button, never had to
touch it again.
is that a nova ?
Yah, was my old sleeper/autosoloer

My vote for the speedo healer. I had a yellowbox on an earlier car and it did not have the range of calibration that the speedohealer has.
