Hi all, just seen a turbo kit for sale on piston heads and wondered if anyone can advise if it would be suitable for my 5pw R1 engine?

I know it's for a Honda engine, but apart from changing the manifold would there be anything else I would need to change? Is that a suitable turbo for my engine and would I need anything else apart from a inter cooler?

Sorry for all the questions, just curious if this is something worth pursuing!

Cheap Chinese made turbo - probably not worth it.

That is a lot of stuff for £450.

I would have thought that most of the value in that would be in the manifold, can they supply a new kit with a manifold to suit your R1? it isn't clear from the details.

Looks like a Chinese turbo, wouldn't go there.
