Finally did it, after 3 years off the road, it is back on again.

OMG it's quick....have to start learning to drive again....only managed flat throttle once today - that was in 4th gear.....bejesus!

What you have been (car that is) off the road for 3 years And you have a busa lump.. How could you leave it such a long time mate.. I would love a Busa in my Mk but the Blade will have to do for now. Hope you manage a few miles in it now that summer is here!!!

Sounds good - the run out, I mean - not the 'beancan' engine!!! We'll have to keep an eye on the weather as the immediate forecast isn't tremendous....

Anyway, mine's in bits today (stripped the dash off to fit a socket for powering the Sat Nav [and the onboard jacuzzi] ).

Yeah, and it will be plumbed into the radiator and engine cooling system for heating it up - who knows, it might start a trend!!

(cornering might get a bit tricky, though)
