Thinking about purchasing a Pipercross PX600 airbox as we seem to be struggling a bit with hot air intake at the start line. Does anyone have any experience of these airboxes? Are they a reasonable design?

Had one, it split at the seams also had the appearance (visibly) of not been designed with airflow in mind, got very little internal capacity and if I understand correctly bike engines in particular like a nice big air box ?
