Hello

I have tried to search the forum but cant find info about them.How long should they be?I mean how long should the part be where the rosejoint connects to? (the non threaded part below the taper)

Looking at pictures in this thread : http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=116711
It seems that best connecting point for the rosejoint would be as close to the upright as possible.Is that right?
