Fireblade 4th gear issue

Hi all,
I have a big problem with my 919 fireblade gearbox.

5th to 4th go to a false "neutral".
When the 4th is engaged, if I use brake, it's the same, the gearbox go to false "neutral".
I have no problem with others gears.

Does it jump out of 4th when accelerating??? If so the dogs are worn

Common problem,
It needs a gearbox rebuild or easier to replace the engine and box.
I have just got one from Andy Bates.
It might be worth a call to him....

when accelerating there is no problem with 4th.

It seem to be a lot of work to strip the gearbox, and I need to found parts too.

Perhaps the time to upgrade engine or found the same in good condition.
It's shame, this engine work very fine and it have a new baffle plate.

I had the same problem. Wasn't long before my fury was jumping out on the way up too. Dogs and cogs!
Talk to Andy at AB Performance, great guy, huge knowledge, you won't find a more genuine supplier. My fury runs like a dream now :-)

I have strip my engine, all seem to it in good condition, so I search more and I've found the issue.
remember: 4th go out when I use brake and 5th to 4th is difficult too with a lot of false 'neutral'

See this pic, the circlip marked in red is out of groove in one side and the 4th gear can't side normally. it's feeling lile a spring when I try to put this 4th gear.
I have found the problem but at this time I don't understand why this circlip go out.
